About the position

The Business Development Associate at The Colony Group plays a crucial role in supporting the Business Development team by enhancing client experiences and driving growth within the firm's custodial referral network programs. This position involves engaging with financial consultants and clients, managing data entry and communications, and ensuring a smooth onboarding process for clients.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Business Development team.
  • Engage with financial consultants and end-clients through outreach and communication.
  • Schedule meetings and maintain continuous phone and email correspondence.
  • Collect and consolidate end-client data for the onboarding process.
  • Utilize Salesforce and other technologies for data entry and internal workflow management.
  • Serve as the central point of contact between the Business Development Team and the Advisor Teams.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of administrative work experience, including internships; financial services experience is a plus.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task under pressure and work independently or in a team environment.
  • Self-starter with energy and assertiveness.
  • Versatility and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
