About the position

The Associate Business Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the Business Manager by managing smaller client accounts and assisting with key client responsibilities. This position focuses on executing mutual business goals between Acosta and its clients, ensuring effective communication and strategic planning for promotional activities.

Responsibilities

  • Support Business Partners with key clients on down-stream execution tracking
  • Manage tactical communications with clients
  • Liaison with Marketing teams
  • Track key metrics for client performance
  • Assist in developing promotion plans
  • Conduct post-promotion analysis
  • Create and deliver sales presentations for smaller clients
  • Provide tactical and strategic client communications under the direction of the Business Manager
  • Conduct marketing analysis and category reviews for smaller clients
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Ability to work with little supervision
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Sales skills including understanding the sales process and client promotion systems
  • Presentation skills including preparation and delivery
  • Negotiation skills including strategy development
  • Marketing/Analytical skills including interpreting IRI/AC Nielsen data
  • Finance skills including creating profit and volume strategies
  • Logistics skills including knowledge of order processing and inventory tracking
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio); MS Project experience preferred
