About the position

The Associate Product Analyst/Product Analyst role at Sentry involves the construction, evaluation, and implementation of product revisions aimed at achieving premium, profit, and customer experience goals. This position requires conducting product research and analysis, and it can be filled at either the Associate or Product Analyst level based on the candidate's background and experience. The role is based in Madison, WI or Stevens Point, WI, and operates under a hybrid work model.

Responsibilities

• Develop working knowledge of company products and processes as well as state filing rules.
• Work with other functional units as part of a team and individually to complete projects such as rule filings and rate changes as assigned.
• Participate in developing alternative approaches when processes have opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare and communicate reports on product performance.
• Conduct product, system, and/or competitor research to meet larger team needs.
• Develop expertise in company products and processes as well as state filing rules.
• Support introduction of new products, enhancements to existing products, and/or entry into new markets to reach company profit and growth targets.
• Collaborate with business partners throughout the organization on the rate and rule revision process, underwriting changes, or system changes.
• Coordinate product revisions and project elevations with other business units.
• Implement underwriting rules within the system as directed by Product Management to achieve business goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
• Prior insurance background preferred but not required
• Analytical and problem solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to communicate and develop business relationships
