About the position

The Associate CAD Designer at Lands' End is responsible for collaborating with the Design team to execute design projects, creating original artwork for products and fabrications. This role involves utilizing CAD software to redesign artwork and contribute creatively to the design process, ensuring alignment with the brand's vision and seasonal palettes.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Design to ascertain their needs and vision for final output.
• Redesign artwork by changing layouts, color, size, rotation, or placement of elements using CAD software.
• Offer creative input in CAD development to enhance skills in pattern and design creation.
• Create colorways for artwork using Lands' End seasonal palettes.
• Contribute to Design presentations by providing prints using Kaledo, Photoshop, and/or Illustrator.
• Facilitate communication of prints and patterns to vendors.
• Integrate hand drawings and computer skills to create prints for specific design categories.

Requirements

• Fashion or Graphic Design degree.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in CAD design.
• Highly proficient in Kaledo.
• Advanced skills in creating original artwork, repeats, scales, textures, knits & weaves, and color theory.
• Skilled in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and self-motivate.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
