About the position

The Associate Cardiac Sales Manager at AtriCure is responsible for driving sales of innovative cardiac technologies, including ablation systems and left atrial appendage management devices, within designated hospital territories. This role involves prospecting, qualifying, and closing sales while collaborating with various teams to achieve corporate sales goals and enhance customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, qualify, and close direct sales of AtriCure's technologies in cardiothoracic operating rooms and related departments.
  • Develop, implement, and execute a strategic sales plan for the designated territory to achieve assigned targets.
  • Identify new customers and opportunities through networking and collaboration.
  • Increase penetration and adoption within existing accounts to grow the base business.
  • Work closely with the Area Director to implement strategies to achieve corporate sales goals.
  • Collaborate with marketing to share industry news and trends and provide feedback.
  • Coordinate activities with Hybrid Therapies and Cryo Nerve Block teams.
  • Manage territory and track customer activity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Successful track record supporting sales representatives through clinical support, business development, marketing, or HCP education.
  • Strong clinical and technical aptitude.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship-building abilities.
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Confident, goal-oriented, self-motivated, and a team player.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Ability to travel 35-60% depending on territory size and location.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the medical device industry.
  • Familiarity with cardiothoracic procedures and technologies.
