About the position

The Associate Chief Information Officer for Cloud Services (ACIO/Cloud) plays a critical role in managing and optimizing the Treasury's enterprise cloud services. This position involves strategic oversight of cloud-based solutions, ensuring alignment with departmental goals, and fostering collaboration among stakeholders to enhance service delivery and efficiency. The ACIO/Cloud is responsible for providing expert counsel to leadership, managing cloud investments, and driving innovative approaches to improve cloud architecture and services.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of Treasury's enterprise cloud services and cloud-based solutions.
  • Developing creative and pragmatic approaches to reengineer and integrate cloud services for enhanced productivity and efficiency.
  • Communicating with stakeholders and building alliances to promote the use of cloud services at Treasury.
  • Reviewing and analyzing cloud investments to ensure alignment with departmental strategies and goals.
  • Providing recommendations to OCIO Leadership and the Assistant Secretary for Management regarding cloud services and policies.
  • Offering expert advice on cloud-related topics, including PaaS, IaaS, SaaS, and FedRAMP compliance.
  • Managing enterprise cloud services to maximize ROI while ensuring fiscal responsibility.
  • Shaping strategic and tactical direction for service delivery based on customer feedback and guidance from DHS and OMB.

Requirements

  • Experience in leading and managing enterprise cloud operations and IT programs for large organizations.
  • Experience implementing security measures and compliance standards across cloud environments.
  • Experience managing a comprehensive cloud program with a focus on cybersecurity.
  • Experience in developing and administering cloud-related IT usage policies and guidance.
