The Associate Civil Engineer (Wastewater Design) position at the East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD) involves working on various aspects of wastewater design and engineering projects. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • EIT (Engineer in Training) certification or the ability to obtain it within 12 months.
  • Experience in wastewater design and engineering principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and other engineering design software.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to wastewater management.
