About the position

The Associate Client Advocate (ACA) is a client-facing role focused on delivering exceptional service in the Commercial Property and Casualty Insurance sector. The ACA supports client relationships and strategy development while working closely with Producers and Client Advocates within the Global Natural Resources Industry Vertical Divisions. This position is responsible for managing client service activities, ensuring client engagement, and maximizing profitability through effective communication and collaboration with internal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Retain existing book of business and strengthen client relationships.
  • Identify and integrate WTW internal resources to enhance client experience.
  • Provide strategic planning and consulting advice to clients regarding insurance and risk management needs.
  • Recommend appropriate solutions throughout the policy term, including acquisition due diligence.
  • Maximize profitability of client accounts and drive retention of business.
  • Expand existing client relationships and support new business prospecting in collaboration with the Client Advocate.
  • Engage with client teams during Internal and External Strategy Meetings.
  • Understand marketplace changes through engagement with sales and broking.
  • Support fee/compensation agreements and overall client invoicing processes.
  • Assist in defensive RFP responses and design client presentations/proposals.
  • Coordinate the renewal process and implement client-specific renewal strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with all policy requirements (legal, regulatory & compliance).
  • Manage client-level coordination and service delivery activities.
  • Engage Service Liaisons on escalations and gather client information with the Client Specialist.
  • Coordinate service delivery activities such as audits, policy reviews, and invoicing.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of commercial Property & Casualty insurance knowledge/experience in a client-facing role.
  • Ability to analyze program design and identify coverage gaps.
  • Strong relationship management skills to leverage internal and external resources.
  • Negotiation skills for conflict resolution and securing concessions.
  • Business acumen with knowledge of client strategy and marketplace solutions.
  • Understanding of the commercial insurance renewal process.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including group presentation skills.
  • Experience in managing work assignments and mentoring a Client Specialist.
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and adaptability to feedback.
  • Strong project management skills for overseeing complex projects.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiarity with relevant online tools.
  • Active insurance broker's P&C license and completion of continuing education activities.
