About the position

The Associate, Client Development at Velocity Black is responsible for supporting the growth strategy aimed at converting trial members into annual members. This role involves managing the onboarding process, assisting trial members, identifying growth opportunities, and maintaining accurate member data. The position is integral to enhancing the member experience and driving membership growth within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively manage and support trial members and convert them into annual members
  • Manage the onboarding process for trial members and work closely with the wider membership team to ensure smooth transition to annual membership
  • Provide day-to-day assistance to trial members
  • Identify growth opportunities, and work closely with leadership within Growth, Product, Engineering, and Operations to implement such opportunities
  • Contribute to the growth and conversion of partner membership
  • Deliver on individual sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Maintain the CRM infrastructure by screening and vetting referrals, completing member profiles, and ensuring that information on trial members and new annual members is accurate on relevant platforms
  • Deliver accurate, insightful trial reporting on a regular basis

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 2 years of experience in sales or client-facing roles

Nice-to-haves

  • 1+ year of membership services experience
  • 1+ year experience in a startup, agency, or corporate setting
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
