About the position

As an Associate in Client Implementations at BNY Mellon, you will be part of a dynamic team that plays a crucial role in advising clients and providing project management support for onboarding, transition, and conversion projects. This position is located in Pittsburgh, PA, and is integral to the Treasury Services Implementations team. Your contributions will directly impact the client experience, ensuring that projects are executed smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for coaching and guiding team members on project management best practices, serving as an escalation point for complex issues that may arise during the implementation process. In this role, you will research, develop, and establish methodologies, protocols, and processes aimed at improving project management and enhancing the client onboarding experience. You will actively participate in team activities that align with the functional objectives of the department, adhering to standard operating procedures to maintain consistency and quality in service delivery. Tracking and reporting on results and outcomes for client implementations and projects will be a key part of your responsibilities, as will understanding team metrics and dashboards to gauge performance. Collaboration is essential in this role; you will liaise with peer leaders across product, technology, and client service teams to ensure that activities are integrated appropriately and that necessary hand-offs are executed seamlessly. Your ability to resolve complex client onboarding, transition, and conversion issues will be critical to your success and the satisfaction of our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Advise clients and provide project management support for onboarding, transition, and conversion projects.
  • Coach and guide team members on project management best practices.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex issues during client implementations.
  • Research, develop, and establish methodologies, protocols, and processes to improve project management and client onboarding experiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • 1-3 years of total work experience is preferred.
  • 0-1 years of project management experience is preferred.
  • Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business.
