About the position

The Associate Client Relationship Manager at Freeman plays a crucial role in developing and maintaining relationships with both new and existing clients. This position focuses on executing Audio Visual projects, ensuring client satisfaction, and driving business growth through excellent customer service. The role involves processing orders, managing billing, and actively seeking new business opportunities while supporting the Client Relationships group under the Growth (Sales) team. The position is eligible for remote work, reflecting Freeman's commitment to flexibility in the workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Support volume of $2.5 million or more.
  • Actively sell to existing and new customers while maintaining and growing client relationships.
  • Sell all Freeman Audio Visual solutions to a broad range of clients.
  • Ascertain requirements and assist in developing and presenting proposals to potential clients.
  • Quote prices and credit terms in compliance with Freeman policies and procedures.
  • Prepare presentation collateral materials and participate in stand-up presentations as needed.
  • Stay current with industry technology standards and company product knowledge.
  • Record activities in the company-provided CRM system (SalesForce).
  • Collect payment information from customers and perform proper approval verification.
  • Receive and process orders in company inventory/invoicing data systems.
  • Assist with operational requests and maintain accurate information in project management systems (Workfront & Box).
  • Help develop and manage a planning timeline in conjunction with the customer and lead CRM.
  • Conduct outbound sales calls and prospect customers through warm calls and referrals.
  • Up-sell current customers to enhance their experience and overall product offering.
  • Obtain future show/event schedule information from clients and solicit future business.
  • Respond to customer complaints and handle payment collection processes as required.
  • Submit itemized expense reports for approval per company policies.
  • Entertain clients and prospects as necessary.
  • Produce and review orders with project managers and branch personnel.
  • Supervise jobs in progress and conduct site inspections as necessary.
  • Conduct follow-up calls to customers to ensure service excellence.
  • Cross-sell all Freeman services.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, High School Diploma or Equivalent with relevant work experience required.
  • 1+ year experience managing and coordinating projects, on-site event experience a plus.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Software/Systems experience in Salesforce, Workfront a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Internet applications.
  • Strong drive for personal growth and commitment to succeed.
  • Highly self-directed, capable of managing their own workload and priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in accuracy and ability to prioritize.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts, such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, etc.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills required.
