About the position

The Associate, Client Service position at Wealthspire Advisors involves supporting the wealth management division by developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and internal teams. The role focuses on ensuring exceptional service delivery, managing client requests, and maintaining accurate client data. This hybrid position allows for in-office flexibility 2-3 days a week, emphasizing a culture of collaboration and accountability.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, advisors, and other team members across the firm.
  • Full awareness of assigned client base, including special needs and ongoing tasks for each client relationship.
  • Coordinate directly with clients regarding various requests, such as money movement requests and account balances.
  • Communicate effectively with advisors and internal teams to meet client expectations and deliver exceptional service.
  • Regularly interface with clients as an extension of the advisory teams.
  • Monitor client account activity and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Liaise with custodians and maintain good rapport with service teams for timely issue resolution.
  • Stay informed on investment approaches and their intersection with client processes.
  • Maintain client data in the CRM, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist Onboarding Specialist with onboarding clients at custodians.
  • Manage complex client needs and act as a mentor/trainer for new team members.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

  • College degree preferred; new grads with business or finance-related degrees and internship/work experience considered.
  • Minimum two years of directly related industry experience preferred; experience in financial planning or the securities industry is helpful.
  • Numerical accuracy and attention to detail are required.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a team environment.
  • Desire to learn, be resourceful, and think outside the box.
  • Professional appearance and manner.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required; experience with CRM, portfolio management, and document management software is a plus.
  • Exhibit personal integrity, professional initiative, and a personable attitude.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in financial planning and/or the securities industry.
  • Familiarity with CRM and portfolio management software.
