This position is full time Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00am - 4:30pm EST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. Our office is located at 1 Guthrie Square Sayre PA 18840. We offer 4 weeks of on-the-job training. The hours of the training will be aligned with your schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the qualitative analysis of documentation and deficiency analysis within the medical records to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and facility.
• Monitor delinquent record and provide potential suspension notifications to clinicians.
• Analyze records for completeness.
• Note missing elements and verify / enter deficiencies into Epic system.
• Assist providers with completion of the legal medical record.
• Re - audit incomplete charts and update in Epic system.
• Routinely access and safeguard confidential information.
• Participate in department quality monitoring and improvement process.
• Monitor transcription database and assist with correction process.
• Provide clerical support for coding team.
• Ability to multi - task and prioritize workload.
• Other duties assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma / GED
• Must be 18 years of age OR older
• Ability to work onsite full time at 1 Guthrie Square Sayre PA 18840
• Ability to work our normal business hours of 8:00am - 4:30pm EST

Nice-to-haves

• 1+ year of healthcare customer service experience
