About the position

The Associate Clinical Oncology Specialist (ACOS) plays a crucial role in supporting account sales and service activities for Oncology products at Natera. This position focuses on ensuring patient adherence to prescribed testing protocols, improving clinical workflows, and enhancing patient outcomes. The ACOS will build and maintain relationships with key personnel in Oncology accounts, analyze patient testing data, and collaborate with internal teams to drive patient retention and unit growth.

Responsibilities

  • Work with assigned Clinical Oncology Specialists (COS) to grow, maintain, and support existing customers.
  • Build relationships with key personnel at assigned Oncology accounts to facilitate unit growth.
  • Analyze and monitor patient testing to ensure adherence to protocols prescribed by Oncologists.
  • Assess the needs of medical professionals and staff with a focus on customer support and problem-solving.
  • Become an expert on all Natera Oncology products and processes to maximize effectiveness in the field.
  • Educate medical professionals on tools and resources provided by Natera for test order management.
  • Utilize and maintain internal reports of key performance indicators (KPIs) related to patient retention and fulfilled order volume.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as sales reps and patient coordinators, to achieve optimal outcomes for patients and providers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or Associate's degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Medical assistant, clinical support, patient liaison, or nursing background.
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and act with a sense of urgency.
  • Strong desire to work in a fast-paced environment and work independently.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to assess and prioritize tasks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel; fluent in understanding data spreadsheets.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the healthcare or oncology field.
  • Familiarity with genetic testing and diagnostics.
