About the position

The Associate Clinical Specialist in Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) at Medtronic is responsible for providing technical, educational, operational, and sales support to meet sales and customer service objectives. This role involves collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure the reliability and quality of CRM products and services, while also being available for unscheduled needs within the assigned territory. The position requires working weekends and holidays as needed, and includes responsibilities such as technical support, operational assistance, educational training, and sales support.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for CRM medical device systems post sign-off.
  • Assist with implants of all CRM products post sign-off.
  • Perform checks/interrogations of CRM systems post sign-off.
  • Educate and train physicians and hospital personnel on CRM products.
  • Manage consignment inventory and assist with daily coverage logistics.
  • Support sales representatives by identifying customer needs and opportunities.
  • Stay updated on new products and solutions in the CRM field.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma plus 4 years of work experience in healthcare or field sales, or an Associate degree plus 2 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's Degree.
  • Experience in nursing, life sciences, biomedical engineering, or related fields.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to build positive relationships.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • B.A./B.S. Degree in nursing or life sciences.
  • Experience in Cath Lab, EP Lab, or cardiology.
  • Teaching and educating medical personnel experience.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and the medical device industry.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft tools and business applications.
