About the position

The Associate Clinical Specialist CRM at Medtronic plays a crucial role in providing technical, educational, operational, and sales support to meet the objectives of the Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) district. This position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure high-quality service and reliability of medical devices, while also being available for unscheduled needs within the assigned territory. The role involves significant interaction with healthcare professionals and requires flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for CRM medical device systems post sign-off.
  • Assist with the implantation of CRM products post sign-off.
  • Perform checks/interrogations of all CRM medical device systems.
  • Provide on-call support as needed on evenings and weekends post sign-off.
  • Complete patient registration and required hospital documentation.
  • Manage consignment and trunk inventory to meet customer needs.
  • Educate and train physicians and hospital personnel on products and solutions.
  • Assist in training new Clinical Specialists and Sales Representatives post sign-off.
  • Partner with DSM, Sales Reps, and DM to understand market dynamics and customer needs.
  • Assist with obtaining customer purchase orders throughout the quarter.
  • Stay updated on new products and solutions in the CRM field.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma plus a minimum of 4 years of work experience in healthcare or field sales, or experience utilizing complex mathematics, mechanical concepts, science, or computing.
  • Associate degree plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience, or a Bachelor's Degree.

Nice-to-haves

  • B.A./B.S. Degree in nursing, life sciences, or biomedical engineering.
  • Experience in Cath Lab, EP Lab, hospital/clinic, or cardiology.
  • Experience teaching and educating medical personnel.
  • Thorough knowledge of medical terminology and the medical device industry.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to build relationships.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Expertise with Microsoft tools and business applications like SalesForce.com.
  • Ability to meet vendor credentialing requirements.
  • IBHRE certification (below Prin level required for Prin level).
