About the position

Wells Fargo is seeking an Associate Commercial Collections Representative to join the Commercial Lending Operations division. This role focuses on maintaining a high-quality account portfolio, managing collections, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. The representative will work closely with internal customers and collaborate with peers to resolve issues and achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a high quality account portfolio through maintenance, collections, restructuring, modification, refinancing, transferring and file updating on all leases, lease purchases, conditional sales contracts and promissory notes.
  • Disposition equipment through sales, renewal and release on all terminations.
  • Utilize a solid understanding of company policies, procedures and collection systems in performance of duties.
  • Make decisions and resolve issues to meet business objectives.
  • Interpret policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
  • Interact with internal customers.
  • Exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

Requirements

  • 6+ months of Commercial Collections experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
