About the position

As an Associate Commercial Enablement Manager at Kellanova, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Sweet Snacking business, which includes well-known brands such as Pop Tarts, Rice Krispies Treats, RX Bar, Special K, and Pure Organic. This position is critical in shaping the commercial vision and driving innovative ideas, disruptive product launches, and market expansion. You will be based in either Chicago, IL (Downtown or Naperville) or Battle Creek, MI, and will work in a flexible, hybrid model with weekly in-office days. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional partners across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Category Strategy, Revenue Growth Management, Research & Development, and Supply Chain. Your primary responsibility will be to create a commercial strategy that excites customers while simultaneously growing sales and market share. You will frequently execute, monitor, and drive visibility to Product Work Requests (PWR) that are essential for project execution. Delivering projects accurately and on time will be crucial for your success in this role, as you will be accountable for chartering new projects as needed. Customer focus is paramount; you will serve as the voice of customers and field sales in the development of strategies, plans, and execution. Ensuring that programs are best in class and meet business needs will be a key expectation. Additionally, you will proactively track, analyze, and provide strategic and tactical recommendations for the category, drawing insights from both Kellanova and competitive intelligence. Your ability to work collaboratively across diverse functions will be essential in ensuring alignment towards common initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Execute, monitor, and drive visibility to Product Work Requests (PWR) for project execution.
  • Deliver projects accurately and on time, chartering new projects upon demand.
  • Serve as the voice of customers and field sales in strategy development and execution.
  • Ensure programs are best in class and meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, R&D, and Sales.
  • Track, analyze, and provide strategic recommendations based on market insights and competitive intelligence.

Requirements

  • Background in commercial strategy, sales strategy, field sales, or cross-functional project work.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with various deadlines and conflicting priorities.
  • Strong organizational, presentation, and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret Nielsen Data and market research.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating self-motivation and time management skills.
