About the position

As an Associate Content Designer at Spectrum, you will be responsible for creating and optimizing digital self-service content to enhance the customer experience. This role involves planning, testing, and publishing online support content while analyzing usability and design improvements. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure that content is effectively targeted and meets customer needs, making a significant impact on the overall service experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive the execution of interactive digital self-service experiences for customers.
• Plan, test, and publish online support content.
• Analyze areas for improvement in design, content, and usability.
• Apply proficiency in Content Management Systems (CMS) for content creation and maintenance.
• Leverage customer segmentation to target digital support content effectively.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and development teams to conduct A/B and multi-variate testing.
• Optimize digital support content for cross-platform display and search engine performance.
• Ensure effective tagging of content for categorization and keywording.
• Utilize metrics and reporting data to enhance digital support content.
• Troubleshoot defects with content output and user experience.

Requirements

• 6 months or more of writing experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with common productivity tools (e.g., MS Office).
• Understanding of basic UX/product design principles.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong time management skills and ability to be self-directed.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Content Management Systems (Drupal, AEM, Wordpress).
• Understanding of basic web technologies (HTML, CSS).
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
