About the position

As an Associate Content Designer at Spectrum, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the digital self-service experience for customers. This position involves planning, testing, and publishing online support content while analyzing design, content, and usability for continuous improvement. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure that digital content is effectively targeted and optimized for customer needs, making a significant impact on customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the execution of an interactive digital self-service experience by planning, testing, and publishing online support content.
  • Analyze areas for improvement in design, content, and usability.
  • Create and maintain digital customer support content using Content Management Systems (CMS).
  • Leverage customer segmentation to target content effectively for the right audience.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and development teams to conduct A/B and multi-variate testing.
  • Optimize digital customer support content for cross-platform display and search engine performance.
  • Ensure proper tagging of content for categorization and keywording.
  • Utilize metrics and reporting data to enhance digital customer support content.
  • Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot content output and user experience issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 6 months or more of writing experience.
  • Familiarity with common productivity tools (e.g., MS Office).
  • Understanding of basic UX/product design principles.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to be self-directed.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Content Management Systems (Drupal, AEM, WordPress).
  • Understanding of basic web technologies (HTML, CSS).
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
  • Skills in managing multiple projects and data analysis.
