About the position

As an Associate Copywriter at Earnest, you will play a crucial role in shaping the customer experience and driving impactful marketing campaigns across various channels, including email and social media. Your primary responsibility will be to create compelling marketing copy that embodies the Earnest brand and resonates with our audience throughout their loan and payoff journey. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, product, content, and marketing, to ensure that the copy aligns with the overall marketing objectives and enhances the customer experience. In this position, you will support the development of copy for high-visibility projects, working hand-in-hand with designers to ensure that the headlines and visuals are cohesive and consistent with the campaign concept. You will be tasked with writing clear and engaging copy for our website, landing pages, and performance marketing channels, all while maintaining the Earnest brand voice. Your ability to think strategically about campaigns and understand the connections between different marketing touchpoints will be essential. Additionally, you will engage in high-level copy strategic projects, such as copy mapping, audits, and A/B testing, to optimize our messaging and improve customer engagement. You will also provide support to other copywriters during peak workload periods, demonstrating your flexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities. This role is ideal for someone with a growth mindset who is eager to learn and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in copywriting.
  • Ability to think in campaign-oriented ways and understand cross-platform conversations.
  • Familiarity with product messaging houses and content calendar production schedules.
  • Experience working with design and digital marketing teams.
  • Interest in healthcare, tech, finance, or relevant market focus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in performance marketing.
