About the position

The Associate Creative Lead will play a pivotal role in the conceptualization, copy, and design of visual solutions from concept to completion in the digital space. This position requires a solid understanding of content creation, design, online marketing, user experience, and mobile design. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and mentoring a team of designers and copywriters located across the United States. The role is integral to guiding the creative process and ensuring that all visual solutions align with the business objectives of the marketing campaigns. In this position, you will oversee the creative development of marketing campaigns across various digital platforms, including mobile, web, and tablet. You will collaborate closely with creative leads, copywriters, producers, and strategists to ensure that the creative output supports the overall business goals. Presenting work and creative strategies to senior executives will also be a key responsibility, requiring strong communication skills and the ability to articulate concepts effectively. Time management is crucial, as you will be juggling multiple projects simultaneously. The role demands a highly organized individual who can thrive in a lively, fast-paced environment, especially under tight deadlines. You will also be expected to mentor and guide a team of designers, copywriters, and art directors, fostering a collaborative and innovative creative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Guide concept, design and asset delivery for marketing campaigns across digital platforms (mobile, web, tablet, etc)
  • Oversee and guide creative development across copy and design
  • Partner with creative leads, copywriters, producers, and strategists to ensure creative supports business objectives
  • Presentation of work and creative strategy to senior execs
  • Time management across multiple projects
  • Ability to manage and mentor a team of Designers, Copywriters and Art Directors

Requirements

  • 5 - 7 years minimum advertising agency or in-house agency digital experience
  • Bachelor Degree in design, art direction, art, communications, marketing or equivalent experience
  • Strong digital portfolio
  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe the Creative Suite
  • Experienced in working with supplied keyart
  • Knowledge of page layout in Figma
  • Strong typography skills, composition skills and color sense
  • Understanding of technical limitations and emerging technologies
  • Flourishes in a lively, fast-paced environment under tight deadlines
  • Highly organized and be able to juggle multiple projects
  • Strong verbal communication skills necessary to effectively communicate concepts and solutions
  • Proven experience leading a team of copywriters and designers
  • Telecomm experience a plus
  • Experience with AfterEffects, 3D and video a plus
