About the position

The Associate Creative Director - Art Director at Visa is responsible for leading creative projects from ideation to execution, producing innovative social content, 360 campaign work, and broadcast commercials. This role involves collaboration with internal marketing leads, designers, and clients to ensure high standards of creative excellence while championing diversity, equity, inclusion, and sustainability in all creative outputs. The position is part of Visa's internal creative agency, Ad Hock, and requires a strong portfolio of work to demonstrate creative capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Support Visa's 360 client marketing needs, including social content, pitch work, TV commercials, and stadium signage.
• Oversee the concepting of work and ensure it meets high standards for creative excellence.
• Provide effective feedback to teams and stakeholders.
• Work directly with a team of designers, art directors, and copywriters to oversee all elements of creative production.
• Help pitch and win new business.
• Champion diversity, equity, inclusion, and sustainability in creative work.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 2+ years with an Advanced Degree, or 0 years with a PhD.
• Strong portfolio showcasing multiple examples of creative excellence.
• Ability to confidently present to clients and persuade with a strong point of view.
• Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, typography, and visual storytelling.
• Collaborative work ethic and easy-going nature.

Nice-to-haves

• 8+ years of agency or in-house experience with a wide range of clients and products.
• Experience working under quick turn deadlines.
• Ability to communicate openly and honestly.
