The Associate Creative Director - Art plays a pivotal role in overseeing the art team from concept to completion, ensuring that all creative outputs align with the client's marketing strategies and objectives. This position requires a blend of strategic thinking, creative problem-solving, and strong leadership skills to guide a team of creatives while managing a diverse workload. In this role, the Associate Creative Director will be responsible for fostering a collaborative environment, leading brainstorming sessions, and providing constructive feedback on creative approaches. They will also oversee the development of presentations for clients, ensuring that concepts are not only innovative but also effectively communicate the client's message. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of market trends and the ability to translate abstract ideas into user-friendly designs that adhere to brand guidelines. Additionally, this role involves mentoring direct reports, setting performance expectations, and conducting regular reviews to support career development. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the art team from inception to final product, ensuring quality of content and style.
  • Manage and mentor a team of creatives, providing guidance and support on projects.
  • Develop and present compelling presentations to clients, ensuring clarity and professionalism.
  • Lead brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas that align with the client's marketing strategy.
  • Anticipate and solve creative problems, making effective recommendations to Creative Directors.
  • Set priorities and manage workloads to ensure timely completion of assignments.
  • Grow existing brands and participate in new business pitches to generate additional revenue.
  • Supervise and participate in all concept work for brands and new business opportunities.
  • Foster an environment of diversity and inclusion within the team.
  • Conduct performance reviews and regular one-on-ones to support career development and growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Advertising/Visual Communications, Graphic Design or related discipline preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing/advertising business experience preferred.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated sound judgment and decisive problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to work well within a team setting and build client rapport.
  • Established presentation skills and managerial leadership skills.
  • Deep understanding of product challenges in relation to the overall market.
  • In-depth understanding of assigned accounts, treatment categories, and relevant physician specialties.
  • Proficiency in design programs and computer applications.
