About the position

The Associate Creative Director (Art) at Razorfish is responsible for leading the concept development and design translation for various interactive marketing projects. This role involves hands-on participation in creative development phases, managing a team of creative talent, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality design solutions for clients. The ACD will work closely with the Creative Lead and will be involved in brainstorming sessions, project planning, and new business development efforts.

Responsibilities

• Supports and leads the creative team in brainstorming sessions and concept creation.
• Presents work internally as well as to clients.
• Responsible for leading creative teams in the successful creation and production of art/design solutions.
• Follows creative direction of senior creative staff and account staff.
• Plans and directs many aspects of assigned projects, serving as an integral member of the creative team.
• Accountable for managing a team of creative talent and leading them in the development of creative work.
• Mentors and leads assigned creative staff, providing critiques of their work.
• Manages many internal details of assigned projects, including coordinating with photographers and production staff.
• Leads the effort to translate established creative direction into conceptual ideas.
• Participates as a creative team member in new-business development efforts.

Requirements

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in a creative role.
• Strong conceptual skills with a broad knowledge of digital experiences.
• Proven mentoring, supervisory, and team-building skills.
• Good presentation skills and people-management abilities.
• Solid knowledge of the creative development process, providing guidance and coaching.

Nice-to-haves

• FinTech experience is a plus.
• Experience with digital (social, mobile, web, CRM) work and campaign work.
