About the position

The Associate Creative Director (Copy) for Market Access at EVERSANA INTOUCH is a leadership role that combines creative direction with strategic oversight in the healthcare marketing sector. This position is responsible for managing and mentoring a team of copywriters while ensuring the delivery of high-quality, impactful content that meets the needs of clients in the life sciences and pharmaceutical industries. The ACD will act as a liaison between creative teams and clients, driving innovative solutions and maintaining a high standard of craft in copywriting.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the copy team, setting high standards for creative output.
  • Serve as a liaison between creative teams and senior account members, ensuring alignment on strategic and creative expectations.
  • Oversee the development of branded and unbranded market access materials, including presentations and training resources.
  • Mentor and supervise junior writers, providing guidance and feedback on their work.
  • Manage freelance writers and ensure the quality of their contributions to projects.
  • Monitor project progress and address any coverage gaps within the agency.
  • Conduct client-facing presentations to sell strategic ideas and foster strong agency-client relationships.
  • Extract and synthesize information from clinical sources to create medically accurate copy.
  • Ensure compliance with FDA/OPDP regulations and AMA style guidelines.

Requirements

  • 10 years of agency/healthcare writing experience.
  • At least 8 years of experience in managed markets topics such as value proposition messaging and reimbursement support materials.
  • At least 4 years of agency experience supervising market access content for brands.
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communication, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to create compelling branded and unbranded collateral for market access stakeholders.
  • Expertise in writing medically accurate copy and understanding complex healthcare topics.
  • Strong leadership skills to mentor and develop junior writers.
  • Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with FDA/OPDP regulations and guidelines.
  • Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Experience in a fast-paced agency environment.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $119,000 to $175,000 based on experience and qualifications.
