About the position

The Associate Creative Director, Copy at Seed Health is a strategic role focused on driving the vision, creation, and execution of integrated brand campaigns. This position requires a creative individual who can bridge the gap between culture, brand, and growth through innovative storytelling and compelling copy. The role involves collaborating with various teams to translate complex scientific concepts into engaging narratives that resonate with diverse audiences, both online and offline.

Responsibilities

  • Write and edit copy for various channels and formats.
  • Codify brand copy style guidelines and ensure adherence across the company.
  • Craft compelling copy that drives brand awareness and conversion.
  • Partner with SciComms and Product Marketing teams to develop messaging for product claims and microbiome research.
  • Top-edit and line-edit junior writers across multiple platforms.
  • Champion writers to think creatively and hone their craft.
  • Utilize qualitative and quantitative data to create unconventional campaign narratives.
  • Stay informed on external social issues that may influence strategic decisions.
  • Understand microbial science to identify translational opportunities for campaigns.
  • Develop and optimize larger creative concepts that translate science to audiences.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Growth teams on strategic campaign thinking.
  • Write and present creative concept briefs that align with business goals.
  • Produce excellent copy and communicate effectively across departments.
  • Conduct post-mortems of creative campaigns to identify learnings and improvements.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in creative/campaign strategy, either in-house or at an agency.
  • 5+ years of experience in top-editing and line-editing junior writers.
  • Proven leadership skills to inspire and cultivate excellent writers.
  • Experience in building campaign strategies for new product launches.
  • Strong collaboration skills with creative, design, marketing, and product teams.
  • Passion for storytelling and brand building with the ability to manage competing objectives.
