Edelman US Health is looking for an Associate Creative Director (ACD) Copywriter to help us create work that is packed with substance and purpose. Whether we're teaming up with global health brands to launch groundbreaking medical innovations, creating an app to help runners with allergies find pollen-free running routes, or partnering with Jeff Bridges to give the immunocompromised community hope, the work we create is designed to capture attention and get people talking. As an ACD Copywriter, you will be involved in a variety of creative tasks that go beyond traditional advertising. You might brainstorm ideas for a 60-second anthem, work on AI concepts with our connected experience team, or develop activation ideas that disrupt culture for good. Responsibilities

  • Work in partnership with an Associate Creative Director, Art Director, and with the direction of creative leadership to concept and plan execution of integrated campaigns and programs across a wide range of media and platforms, especially social, digital, video, experiences, and content.
  • Concept and write campaign ideas for client projects and new business pitches that are earned-first and social by design.
  • Work in concert with a wide range of specialties including account, strategy, project management, and influencers.
  • Develop tactics that bring creative concepts to life and achieve program objectives.
  • Manage multiple jobs simultaneously, managing and providing direction to other team members as needed.
  • Work closely with a project manager and production partners to schedule projects and coordinate production.
  • Prepare and present client creative presentations and drive client approval process.
  • Work effectively with external vendors and internal colleagues to complete projects within timeframe and budget.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of experience in marketing, advertising or social media.
  • A Bachelor's degree, preferably in English or related major.
  • Experience in copywriting and writing direction in a supporting, individual and team capacity, in all mediums.
  • Experience managing day-to-day changes at every level of detail and handling them with a team-oriented, entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Presentation experience and pizzazz (yes, we just used the word 'pizzazz').
  • Experience maintaining client contact as needed.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage work, adhering to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment.
