About the position

The Associate Creative Director, Copy at Ogilvy is responsible for developing innovative and impactful creative concepts across various mediums. This role requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as expertise in copywriting, art direction, and design. The individual will oversee the creative development process, ensuring high-quality output and effective client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develops creative concepts with ACD Art Director
• Owns the creative work on assigned brands
• Manages the creative development process as it relates to projects
• Implements strategy and direction and provides art direction/copy expertise
• Supervises creative teams as needed
• Ensures the quality and implementation of all work
• Participates in client presentations and helps develop client relationships
• Expertly delivers creative that crosses all platforms
• Works with the Creative Resource Team to select and assign resources as necessary
• May personally work on creative assignments, within or outside of the group, or on major department explanatories and new business efforts
• Adopts management posture in representing the agency's interest in interaction with clients, staff, outside vendors and other contacts
• Participates in recruitment efforts for the department by reviewing portfolios and interviewing candidates as requested by the Creative Resource personnel.

Requirements

• 7-10+ years' experience in an agency setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent management skills and strong leadership potential
• Expert in MAC software and Adobe Creative Suite.
