About the position

SS+K is seeking an Associate Creative Director - Copywriter who will collaborate with an Associate Creative Director/Art Director partner to lead creative development on integrated brand campaigns. This role requires a highly conceptual thinker with strong copywriting skills, capable of managing projects from inception to completion while ensuring high-quality communication across various media platforms. The position involves fostering client relationships, mentoring junior talent, and presenting creative concepts effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop media agnostic big ideas and bring them to life through every stage of production.
• Craft communication for various media including film, radio, OOH, and social.
• Own large projects and campaigns from kickoff to completion, balancing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ensure integrity and quality of written communication throughout all phases of a project.
• Foster strong client relationships and support junior teams in presentations.
• Present to clients in a clear and dynamic manner, championing the work and agency vision.
• Nurture junior talent through direction, feedback, and knowledge sharing.
• Oversee the evolution of the work and provide senior thought leadership.
• Interact professionally with all levels of the company and external parties.
• Understand client needs and develop, present, and sell creative concepts.

Requirements

• 6-10+ years in an agency environment preferred, in client-facing roles.
• Robust experience with integrated campaigns from strategic development to delivery.
• Mastery of creative language with the ability to capture diverse tones and styles.
• Production experience across all platforms including film, digital, social, and print.
