About the position

The Associate Creative Director/Copywriter at LEGO will play a pivotal role in shaping the agency's creative output. This position involves leading and managing creative projects while also contributing hands-on to the creative process. The ACD/Copywriter will collaborate with various teams to develop innovative and impactful campaigns that resonate with audiences, ensuring that the agency remains at the forefront of creativity and playfulness.

Responsibilities

  • Be a creative problem solver, conceptual thinker, narrative builder, storyteller and creative leader.
  • Lead and manage teams or projects while also getting involved in the work, writing and implementing with or without partners.
  • Develop compelling, creative concepts and implement them end to end, from scripting to final execution.
  • Collaborate with creative directors, art directors, producers, strategists, and other teammates to develop strategic creative work.
  • Proactively observe and investigate to unearth new insights that lead to business and creative opportunities.
  • Challenge the status quo and bring fresh perspectives to problem-solving.
  • Think human-centric and audience-first solutions beyond traditional paid media.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in branding, social media, advertising, creative strategy, storytelling, and narrative building.
  • Portfolio of award-winning work that demonstrates brand-building big ideas and cultural influence.
  • Collaborative, team-oriented, ambitious, curious, and independent with a comfort in ambiguity.
  • Comprehensive understanding of social media, content strategy, and information consumption across platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal and external teams.
  • Excellent oral, written communication, and presentation skills.
