About the position

As the Associate Creative Director (Maternity Coverage) within the Chegg Creative Marketing team, you will play a crucial role in leading and inspiring our creative team to produce compelling and effective marketing campaigns. This position is responsible for overseeing the creative direction, ensuring brand consistency, and driving innovation across all marketing initiatives. You will provide creative direction and guidance to the creative team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. Your leadership will be essential in the conceptualization, development, and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, print, and video. In this role, you will act as a brand guardian, ensuring that all marketing materials adhere to brand guidelines and maintain consistency in messaging, tone, and visual identity. You will supervise and mentor a team of six creatives, providing feedback, guidance, and support to foster their professional growth and development. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product, and Content, to align creative strategies with business objectives and ensure seamless execution. Additionally, you will manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are of the highest quality. Staying updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies will be crucial to continually enhance the effectiveness of our creative efforts.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a creative leadership role within a marketing or advertising agency, with a proven track record of delivering successful campaigns.
  • Strong conceptual thinking and exceptional design skills, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, organize, and inspire a creative team, fostering collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
  • Proven ability to provide constructive feedback, coach team members effectively, and manage diverse projects with strong organizational skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into creative solutions that resonate with our target audience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate and present creative ideas and concepts.
  • Proficiency in Figma, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.), and other relevant design and project management tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Advertising, Marketing, or related field.
