The Associate Creative Director at Claire's is a strategic role focused on driving creative excellence and innovation within the brand. Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Creative leadership to develop and execute creative strategies and concepts that align with Claire's brand vision and goals.
  • Provide direction and mentorship to the design team, ensuring high-quality output that meets brand standards and project objectives.
  • Foster a culture of creativity and innovation within the team, encouraging fresh ideas and new approaches to design challenges.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and coordination with cross-functional teams for cohesive creative solutions.
  • Maintain and enhance the integrity of the Claire's brand visual identity across all touchpoints, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and business goals.
  • Support the professional growth and development of the design team through constructive feedback and training opportunities.
  • Engage with external partners to present and discuss creative concepts, building strong relationships and collaboration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in a creative leadership role, preferably within the retail or fashion industry.
  • 5-7 years of relevant art direction and graphic design experience.
  • Solid understanding of design principles including typography and color theory.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proven track record of successful project management and team leadership.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative work and innovative design solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute creatively.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant design tools.
  • Strong understanding of current design trends and best practices.
