About the position

The Associate Creative Director, Performance Creative at Dentsu Creative US is responsible for overseeing and creating performance-driven creative work while managing a team. This role involves ideating and producing conceptual work across various digital platforms, ensuring alignment with client branding requirements, and enhancing response strategies through audience insights and strategic frameworks. The position requires a blend of creative leadership and hands-on execution, with a focus on developing impactful campaigns for notable brands.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and create conceptual yet performance-driven work such as paid social, display, email, OLV, and landing pages.
  • Develop on-brand creative activations rooted in strategy for specific audiences across channels.
  • Partner with teams to create concepts that enhance response strategies and achieve client goals.
  • Apply audience insights, strategic frameworks, and direct response best practices to work.
  • Stay current with the latest trends and technologies in the industry.
  • Present work internally and to clients while building client relationships.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years copywriting experience in creative advertising and performance creative.
  • Experience with writing for direct mail, online display, email, paid social, and digital experiences including video.
  • Working knowledge of web usability/accessibility, advertising technologies, and development methods.
  • Brand development experience.
