About the position

The Associate Creative Director, Photography (& Video) at Kohler Co. is responsible for leading the execution and delivery of high-quality photography and video content across all Kohler brands. This role requires a strong leader with a keen eye for detail, extensive experience in premium and luxury brands, and the ability to manage a team of 5-9 direct reports, including photographers, editors, and art directors. The ACD will oversee projects from concept to execution, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and innovation in content creation.

Responsibilities

• Direct all stages of photo and video production, contributing hands-on content creation experience.
• Manage resources, delegate tasks, and prioritize in a high-volume content creation environment.
• Ensure the production team's work is delivered on strategy and on brand.
• Deliver original ideas that are clear, concise, and convincing.
• Foster new and innovative ideas within the team.
• Maintain awareness of current trends and technologies in the industry.
• Build and maintain respectful relationships with all teams and external partners.
• Oversee project budgets in partnership with Account and Project Managers.
• Encourage and foster career development within the team.

Requirements

• 10+ years' experience in an advertising agency or in-house studio.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Portfolio demonstrating photography abilities.
• Experience across multiple channels including TV, Print, Digital, and Content/Video.
• Extensive production experience in all mediums.
• Proven leadership skills and experience mentoring teams.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present ideas effectively.
• Solution-oriented and nimble problem solver.
• Passionate about design, luxury, and aesthetics.
