About the position

The Associate Creative Director, Photography (& Video) at Kohler Co. is responsible for leading the execution and delivery of high-quality photography and video content for all Kohler brands. This role requires a strong leader with extensive experience in premium and luxury brands, who can manage a team of 5-9 direct reports, including photographers, editors, and art directors. The ACD will oversee projects from concept to execution, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and innovation, while also fostering a collaborative environment within the creative team.

Responsibilities

• Direct all stages of photo and video production, contributing hands-on content creation experience.
• Manage resources, delegate tasks, and prioritize projects in a high-volume content creation environment.
• Ensure the production team's work aligns with brand strategy and is delivered on time and within budget.
• Foster new and innovative ideas within the team and maintain awareness of industry trends and technologies.
• Build and maintain respectful relationships with all teams and manage outside vendors and agencies.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in an advertising agency or in-house studio.
• Bachelor's degree or relevant degree preferred.
• Portfolio demonstrating photography abilities.
• Experience across multiple channels including TV, print, digital, and content/video.
• Extensive production experience in all mediums.
