About the position

We are looking for an Associate Creative Director with a strong focus on social media to join our in-house creative team. This role is pivotal in shaping our social media presence, driving engagement, and ensuring our brand's new essence and expression is compelling and consistent across all platforms. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating impactful social media campaigns, a deep understanding of digital trends, and the ability to lead and inspire a team of creatives and creators while working closely with cross-functional social and marketing partners. They will report to the Creative Director. In this role, you will develop and execute innovative social media strategies and campaigns that align with Peloton's overall marketing objectives. You will lead the conceptualization, design, and production of compelling social media content, including graphics, videos, animations, and copy. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with social, marketing, PR, and content teams to ensure cohesive and integrated campaign executions. You will oversee the day-to-day management of social media channels, ensuring timely and engaging content delivery. Staying current with digital and social media trends, tools, and best practices is essential to continuously enhance our social media presence, especially as it relates to platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Meta, Pinterest, and YouTube. You will also mentor and manage a team of social media creatives, providing guidance, feedback, and fostering a collaborative work environment. Ensuring all social media content adheres to new brand guidelines and maintains a consistent tone and voice is a critical aspect of this role. Additionally, you will identify and collaborate with influencers, partners, and stakeholders to amplify our social media reach and impact.

Responsibilities

  • Mentor and manage a team of social media creatives, providing guidance, feedback, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Ensure all social media content adheres to new brand guidelines and maintains a consistent tone and voice.
  • Identify and collaborate with influencers, partners, and stakeholders to amplify our social media reach and impact.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a creative role with a focus on social media, preferably within an in-house creative team or agency.
  • Ability to both oversee and capture content of social concepts.
  • Ownership of concepts from ideation to production & delivery.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing creative projects and teams.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of successful social media campaigns and creative work.
  • Proficient in social media platforms, tools, and creative software (Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Canva, Figma); bonus: After Effects (any other animation software).
  • Exceptional creative, visual, and copywriting skills.
  • Strong understanding of branding, marketing principles, and digital strategy.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Passion for storytelling, innovation, and staying ahead of industry trends.
  • Ability to adapt, act, and create quickly to bring trend-driven ideas to life.

  • Experience with animation software beyond After Effects.
