Klaviyo is looking for its next Associate Creative Director of Design. As the Associate Creative Director, you will be responsible for transforming business challenges into design opportunities, using your visual expertise to create solutions that are as effective as they are beautiful. You will serve as the creative lead for primary initiatives and marquee projects, including launches, events, and brand campaigns. You will architect durable, scalable brand systems that ensure our Klaviyo brand sings in harmony across all customer touchpoints. You will juggle a variety of formats and channels, from digital to print, social to experiential/event, ensuring a cohesive and engaging brand presence no matter where our audiences encounter us. Additionally, you will inspire, educate, and collaborate with team members, contractors, and agency partners, providing guidance and feedback to help them grow and flourish within our creative ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Transform business challenges into design opportunities using visual expertise.
  • Serve as creative lead for primary initiatives and marquee projects, including launches, events, and brand campaigns.
  • Architect durable, scalable brand systems ensuring brand consistency across all customer touchpoints.
  • Manage a variety of formats and channels, ensuring a cohesive brand presence across digital, print, social, and experiential/event.
  • Inspire and mentor team members, contractors, and agency partners, providing guidance and feedback.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience with an Associate Director/Creative Director background in advertising agencies, design studios, or in-house teams.
  • Advanced expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Google Workspace; familiarity with Canva is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate closely with copy, UX design, and producers to ensure brand consistency across channels.
  • Proven ability to multitask and manage various responsibilities while meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, evolving environment with limited guidance on new initiatives.
