About the position

The Associate Creative Director at Warner Bros. Discovery is responsible for developing and implementing innovative video campaigns across multiple platforms, focusing on Brand and Corporate Communications as well as Original Programming. This role involves leading a team of producers, managing budgets, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure projects meet creative and marketing objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement innovative video campaigns for Brand and Corporate Communications.
  • Oversee project execution and provide creative direction on various requests from corporate partners.
  • Manage and mentor a team of producers and oversee external vendor work.
  • Act as a project lead and liaise with corporate partners, internal teams, and executives.
  • Manage multiple budgets and ensure projects stay on task and within budget.
  • Collaborate with marketing and cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
  • Participate in the management of in-house content production and editing.
  • Provide mentorship to team members to develop their skills.

Requirements

  • Strategic thinker and creative problem solver with the ability to influence and execute innovative ideas.
  • Hands-on experience with editors to elevate creative work.
  • Expert knowledge of production management, post-production, video editing, writing, and producing.
  • Exceptional understanding of the post-production process.
  • Adept at presentation and concept pitches.
  • Proven ability to manage creative projects from conception through implementation.
  • Strong judgment and decision-making skills under tight deadlines.
  • Solid managerial and leadership competencies with experience in nurturing talent.
  • Superior production crew management skills.
  • Strong approvals management skills to navigate complex hierarchies.
  • Ability to multi-task and delegate work in a high-demand environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship development skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior experience working on Brand campaigns is a plus.
  • Experience launching campaigns with premium content, including films and original series.
