About the position
The Associate Creative Project Manager will play a crucial role in managing and delivering projects for a global retail giant. This position requires a detail-oriented and organized individual who can effectively lead cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The role involves scoping projects, coordinating resources, and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders to achieve strategic business goals while enhancing the customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Identify key stakeholders, milestones, deliverables, and all other relevant information needed to initiate a project.
- Comprehend, implement, and adopt guidance and directives from client leadership regarding effective business processes and workflows.
- Gather and distribute necessary information to keep everyone on task throughout each critical milestone of a project.
- Utilize print project management software to create new signing projects and ensure pertinent job information is captured from initiation to completion.
- Create project timelines, manage assets with stakeholders, and adjust the project life as needed.
- Schedule and participate in project meetings, ensuring all key stakeholders are engaged and set up for success in meeting deadlines.
- Coordinate and manage final art handoff to print procurement partner/printer, ensuring all final assets are approved by stakeholders and match deliverables.
- Assist in the approval of printer proofs.
- Work collaboratively and communicate with stakeholders daily to identify and resolve obstacles that may jeopardize project completion or quality.
Requirements
- 3-5 years as a Project Manager, Coordinator, or in a related role managing cross-functional teams.
- 3-5 years of experience primarily in e-commerce with a background in digital, creative, or related retail or ad agency environments.
- Case-study portfolio recommended but not required.
- Experience with Workfront, SmartSheets, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and possess excellent time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
