About the position

As a Key Account Customer Service Representative at PPG, you will serve as the primary contact for external customers, ensuring the success of every sale. This remote position involves managing customer orders, tracking fulfillment, and collaborating with various teams to guarantee timely delivery. You will be empowered to resolve customer service issues and implement corrective actions, while gaining a deep understanding of company policies and procedures. This role offers a solid foundation for career growth within the company.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately input customer orders and source to multiple fulfillment centers.
  • Track late orders and fulfillment status.
  • Update daily priority lists and maintain customer and product files.
  • Collaborate with Planning, Scheduling, Production, and Shipping to ensure on-time shipments.
  • Work with the supervisor to resolve issues and implement corrective action plans.
  • Occasionally travel for meetings, training, and team events.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting manufacturing or logistics.
  • Experience in high-volume and complex customer service, including answering emails and resolving issues.
  • Ability to enter a high volume of order data daily with a low error rate.
  • Strong communication skills, maintaining email and phone etiquette.
  • Experience in providing administrative support and follow-ups.
