About the position

The Associate Data Analyst plays a crucial role within the Tax Shared Services team at Fidelity Investments, focusing on supporting the Operations Service Group (OSG) Tax. This position involves researching, designing, analyzing, and delivering reporting solutions that translate business needs into actionable data insights. The Analyst will develop dashboards and perform data analysis to enhance operational efficiency and scalability across tax operations.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, analyze, and deliver reporting solutions for the Tax Shared Services team.
• Translate business needs into data requests to create insights.
• Perform data analysis and develop dashboards for various functions across tax operations.
• Contribute to operational efficiency by developing data visualizations and business reporting.
• Work closely with various business functions to document requirements and prepare reports and user guides.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems preferred.
• Ability to write SQL queries to extract data from relational databases, specifically Snowflake.
• Experience in designing and developing dashboards and reports using Power BI and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong presentation presence.
• Proficient project management skills, including the ability to prioritize and meet goals.
• High proficiency for accuracy and attention to detail.
