About the position

The Associate, Data Enablement at Lilly is responsible for fostering cross-functional collaboration to enhance data exchanges that support customer support programs. This role involves assessing business needs, managing data transfer agreements, and ensuring compliance in a highly regulated environment. The position aims to improve customer experiences by enabling effective data solutions and facilitating communication among stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as business subject matter expert of the data exchanges required to facilitate Lilly customer support capabilities and offerings.
  • Collaborate with business peers to refine high level business processes and problems into requirements, ensuring data exchanges adequately meet business needs.
  • Provide requirements to internal tech (Tech@Lilly) and vendor partners to execute the creation and enhancements to our data exchanges.
  • Facilitate business impact assessments by participating in development review sessions with Tech@Lilly and vendors as they develop technical solutions.
  • Manage a repository of data transfer agreements and quality documentation with Tech@Lilly and vendor partners.
  • Understand existing contracts in place with third party vendors, confirm that accurate contract execution and identification of new scopes of work are captured.
  • Build, enable, and follow quality processes and governance in a highly regulated setting inclusive of quality monitoring and testing.
  • Prepare and support internal communication plans to appropriately advise stakeholders of platform changes/outages.
  • Create or consult on the creation of cross-functional project plans.
  • Monitor timelines closely to confirm deliverables will meet expectations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in business information systems, management information systems, business administration or related.
  • 2+ years of experience working with large, event-based data sets.
  • Experience in a regulated industry such as financial services or healthcare, with understanding of compliance regarding data security and privacy.

Nice-to-haves

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze sophisticated issues and shape effective solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail and experience with visualizing complex processes (flowchart, dataflow, BPMN, etc.).
  • Strong organization skills and the ability to coordinate across multiple parties.
  • Demonstrated experience influencing internal and external partners.
  • Confidence in driving delivery and leveraging communication skills to shepherd change across various partners.
