Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish data standards, ownership, and accountability.
• Work closely with data stewards to define and enforce data policies.
• Establish end-to-end data lineage for critical business elements.
• Maintain a comprehensive data catalog.
• Leverage data governance tools (e.g., Collibra) to operationalize governance processes.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate data governance solutions.
• Work with data owners and stakeholders to ensure data is shared securely, consistently, and in compliance with internal policies and procedures.
• Maintain documentation on data usage policies, procedures, and compliance reports for auditing and regulatory purposes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology or a related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• 1 or 2 years of data-centric IT experience.
• Experience with data governance tools including technical and business metadata, data quality, data profiling, and data lineage.
• Experience with shared data and database languages such as SQL.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A commitment to the ethical use of data.
