About the position
The Associate Dean of Clinical Education at Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine (RVUCOM) is responsible for overseeing the clinical education program, ensuring that students receive high-quality training and education in clinical settings. This role involves collaboration with faculty, healthcare institutions, and other stakeholders to enhance the clinical curriculum and support student success in their clinical rotations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the development and implementation of the clinical education curriculum.
- Collaborate with faculty and clinical partners to ensure high-quality clinical training for students.
- Monitor and evaluate student performance in clinical settings.
- Facilitate communication between students, faculty, and clinical sites.
- Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare institutions for clinical placements.
Requirements
- Doctoral degree in a relevant field (e.g., DO, MD, PhD).
- Experience in clinical education or medical education administration.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
