About the position

In the Associate Demand & Inventory Planning Analyst position, you will play a crucial role in optimizing inventory and maximizing supply efficiency to support the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process. This position is central to our evolving business, as you will assist both internal and external distribution teams with data access and reporting to meet customer expectations. Your contributions will help develop and align demand and inventory management strategies, as well as aid in the creation of tools and processes to support these strategies. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining demand forecasts for select product categories, collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather input. You will monitor forecast accuracy metrics at both the category and location levels, ensuring that significant customer demand changes are communicated effectively. Additionally, you will recommend order replenishment quantities and coordinate purchase order placements for select product categories to maintain target inventory levels. Your efforts will improve visibility to incoming supply and streamline inventory plans, while also troubleshooting stock-out and overstock risks to develop effective and profitable solutions. You will support reporting needs, innovate toolsets, and automate processes within existing SIOP processes. Collaboration with Data Analytics, Data Science, and Engineering teams on process automation projects will be essential. Furthermore, you will provide internal customer support regarding inventory availability and maintain internal inventory and cost-related audit documentation with key suppliers and distribution partners. Developing process documentation for the Demand & Inventory Management Team will also be part of your responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Support reporting needs, toolset innovation, and process automation within existing SIOP processes.
  • Collaborate with Data Analytics, Data Science, and Engineering teams on process automation projects.
  • Provide internal customer support on inventory availability.
  • Maintain internal Inventory and Cost related audit documentation with key suppliers and distribution partners.
  • Develop process documentation for Demand & Inventory Management Team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business, Engineering, or Operations.
  • 2+ years of experience in demand and inventory planning or related field.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, with familiarity in Power BI, SQL, and Python.
