About the position

The Associate Demand Planner at Foster Farms plays a crucial role in supporting the demand forecasting processes that drive the supply chain. This position involves collaboration with cross-functional partners to enhance forecast accuracy and contribute to business growth. The planner will be integral to the Fresh Chicken Retail team, focusing on improving operational efficiency and executing the monthly demand planning process to meet customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Support and provide feedback for the development of the demand forecast process based on a pre-defined framework.
• Apply promotional and lifecycle planning to create the operations forecast.
• Evaluate the results of the forecast at customer and material level against orders and delivery.
• Understand variances and make necessary adjustments to reflect the most appropriate demand forecast results.
• Conduct proactive forecast quality assessments using trend analysis and data input of volume.
• Assist with the S&OP execution process that drives the consensus forecast with key stakeholders.
• Support all related integrated planning requirements and other assigned projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or Business Administration.
• 1+ years' experience in Supply Chain Management or Operations.
• Strong forecast and supply planning experience preferred.
• Project management experience preferred.
• Experience with SAP APO/IBP or other key MRP systems preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
