About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in general dentistry and specialized skills in prosthodontics and dental extractions. This role involves providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort, and maintaining accurate medical documentation. The Associate Dentist will work collaboratively with our team to deliver exceptional patient experiences while adhering to the highest standards of dental practice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients.
• Perform a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, and dental extractions.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for all patient interactions.
• Utilize knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
• Monitor vital signs and ensure patient safety during procedures.
• Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide optimal patient care.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry and implement best practices within the clinic.
• Educate patients on oral health, preventive care, and treatment options.

Requirements

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Active state dental license with no restrictions.
• Proficiency in dental fabrication techniques is preferred.
• Familiarity with medical documentation systems and processes.
• Strong understanding of anatomy knowledge relevant to dentistry.
• Previous experience in a clinical setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
