Participation in equipment and material procurement activities is also a key responsibility. The engineer will adhere to industry codes and standards, as well as department practices and procedures, ensuring that all work aligns with organizational and project objectives. The role demands strong organizational skills to prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks effectively and timely, setting priorities and meeting deadlines. The engineer will also be expected to analyze problems of varying complexity and make independent recommendations for solutions.
