About the position

The Associate Digital Asset Manager will play a crucial role in the migration of digital assets into the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system. This position requires collaboration with the Digital Asset Supervisor and other team members to ensure the effective management and organization of digital assets. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and supporting digital assets for the digital asset management system, self-service ad-builder, image distribution, and other marketing channels.
  • Reviewing, approving, and uploading marketing assets to ensure adherence to DAM governance.
  • Ensuring taxonomy and metadata standards are followed for efficient search and accurate usage rights.
  • Providing quality control of digital image content, metadata, and asset properties.
  • Processing assets in a timely manner.
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Role management for system access.
  • Working directly with third-party vendors.
  • Assisting in user training.
  • Communicating project status to the Product Development Manager.
  • Conducting audits of digital assets to ensure accurate and continuous organization.

Requirements

  • 3-4 years of experience working with a digital asset management system, image database, or document management system.
  • Working knowledge of enterprise digital asset management (DAM) software.
  • Familiarity with metadata for tagging images and cataloging taxonomy.
  • Knowledge of various file formats (print, digital, video) and media usage rights terminology.
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite software including Acrobat Pro and Photoshop.
  • Knowledge of both MS Windows and macOS operating systems.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Attention to detail and a passion for producing accurate work.
